Walk In Pink 5.0 is the milestone edition, marking five consecutive years of a movement that has grown from 200 people screened to a target of 1,500 in a single day, all at DTI Campus, Accra.
For the first time, participants wear one of the Five Shades, each representing a different role in the breast-cancer journey. The Hopeful, the Future, the Remembered, the Warrior, and the Fearless.
A memorial balloon release will honour those lost, and the month-long Pink Wave campaign builds the whole community toward October 24. This is five years of showing up, and the biggest Walk In Pink yet.
Walk In Pink 5.0hasn't happened yet. Be part of it: register to walk, and check back after Saturday, 24 October 2026 for photos and highlights.
On film.
Five shades. Five stories.
For those holding onto hope, the survivors, supporters, and believers.
For the next generation, the young women and girls who carry tomorrow forward.
In memory of those we have lost, for families honouring a woman taken too soon.
For those in active treatment, the fighters who show up every day with unbreakable courage.
For those who advocate boldly, the voices who refuse to let breast cancer stay silent.
