Survivor Voices

For its second edition, Walk In Pink moved to Sakumono's Corpus Christi Park and doubled in scale. Over 400 participants were screened, and The Trust Hospital joined as the official medical partner, a relationship that continues to this day.

2.0 introduced the Survivor Chat, a live, unscripted conversation with breast cancer survivors that moved the entire crowd to tears and to action. It transformed the walk from an event into a community of shared experience.

Proceeds were donated to the Trust Cancer Fund, and the first corporate sponsors came on board, marking the beginning of Walk In Pink as a credible, sustainable movement.
